Project Detail
Public safety was a significant factor in this project as this construction site is located in a key Perth attraction with a high volume of foot traffic, though on the other hand minimal disruption to the public was essential. This resulted in a focus on erecting red mesh barricade fencing around each section of path being worked on, removing and reinstalling every couple of days.
Scope of works included:
Survey and set out to accurately identify center alignment of the footpath
Erect appropriate signs and fencing throughout the project
Remove 1 kilometer of concrete footpath
Box out and prepare for new footpath and paving, including penetrometer testing
Supply and install 1 km of concrete footpath (in sections)
Supply and install numerous sections of exposed aggregate
Prepare for paving i.e. box out, supply and install road base and paving sand
Supply and install 76m of paving
